Job Description
At Axsium, a Consultant plays an integral role in helping clients implement and customize their workforce management strategy. Consultants are involved in a wide range of activities and project phases including business process engineering, vendor selection, requirements gathering, system specification and documentation, testing strategy, implementation and support.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Understand the full, end to end WFM workflow
- Understand the full, end to end project lifecycle
- Understand and execute an effective test/deployment strategy
- Understand and use Axsium templates and methodology
- Ability to write detailed requirements in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to translate design into an effective configuration and implement within the solution
- Create client-facing presentations
- Support discussions and workshops with the client
- Ability to navigate difficult situations in a calm and structured way
- Understand, adapt and act within the client’s organization and culture
- Full understanding of Axsium products (e.g. Opus, Change Management); and be able to identify associated client opportunities
Internal Culture and Administration
- Ambassador for Axsium culture – presentation, commitment, integrity
- Timely and accurate submission of Time and Expense Reports
- Proactively provide notification of availability
- Share knowledge across Axsium
- Ensure timely delivery of all project documentation and other deliverables
Requirements
- University or college degree
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify gaps and propose alternative solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail as well as be comfortable selling his/her ideas to client’s project team through discussion and presentation
- Works well as part of a team or on their own with minimal supervision
- Deadline driven, confident, open to taking initiative, ability to multi-task
- Experience with SQL, Dell Boomi and Enterprise report writing would be preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new information effectively
- 2+ years of consulting experience in the WFM field
- 2+ years of workforce management experience developing and executing on workforce management, labor productivity or HCM implementations strategies is highly preferred
- 2+ years of experience working with workforce management technologies including but not limited to labor forecasting, schedule optimization, time keeping, budgeting and task management are highly preferred
- Experience with SQL, Dell Boomi, Enterprise report writing, JSON and XML would be preferred
