An upgrade is the process of applying a new code, database scripts, or other vendor provided materials that change or correct the functionality of your WFM application.
Upgrades should be applied regularly to ensure that your WFM software has the latest functionality, security, and bug fixes applied. The process of applying an upgrade should be repeatable, and include analysis of the release notes, adequate new and regression testing, and a change management plan. Note that you’re not required to implement an upgrade as soon as it’s made available, but you should not let yourself fall more than a few release versions behind.
