Job Description

At Axsium, a Specialist takes a lead role on projects. As a trusted advisor, a Specialist l use their Workforce Management or domain experience to guide and lead clients at every stage of the project. The Specialist uses their experience in consulting and project delivery best practices to lead, mentor and guide junior Firm resources.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Understand and have experience of the full, end-to-end WFM workflow 
  • Understand and have experience in the full, end to end project lifecycle 
  • Understand and execute an effective test/deployment strategy 
  • Understand and use Axsium templates and methodology 
  • Ability to write detailed requirements in a clear and concise manner 
  • Ability to translate design into an effective configuration or labor standards and implement within the solution 
  • Create client-facing presentations 
  • Lead and facilitate discussions and workshops with the client 
  • Ability to manage difficult situations in a calm and structured way 
  • Understand, adapt and act within the client’s organization and culture 
  • Create overall solution design, including best practices 
  • Contribute to project planning tasks (e.g. preliminary estimates) 
  • Full understanding of Axsium products (e.g. Opus, Change Management); and be able to identify associated client opportunities 

People

  • Ability to guide and manage a team of consultants – supervision & mentoring & coaching & provide feedback to PM

Internal Culture and Administration

  • Ambassador for Axsium culture – presentation, commitment, integrity 
  • Timely and accurate submission of Time and Expense Reports 
  • Proactively provide notification of availability 
  • Share knowledge across Axsium via use of ASK, etc.  
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project documentation and other deliverables 
  • Support the sales process as required 
  • Understanding and management of project financials for assigned engagements 

Requirements

  • University or college degree 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify gaps, propose, evaluate and recommend alternative solutions 
  • Strong and persuasive written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail as well as be comfortable selling his/her ideas to client’s project team, senior management and C-level executives through discussion and presentation 
  • Works well as part of a team or on their own with minimal supervision 
  • Deadline driven, confident, takes initiative, ability to multi-task 
  • 5+ years of consulting experience in the WFM field 
  • 5+years of Ultimate Kronos Group Work Force Central
  • UKG experience specifically in Timekeeping.  Advanced Scheduling is a plus
  • Workforce Dimension experience will be an asset
  • 5+ years of workforce management experience developing and executing on workforce management, labor productivity or HCM implementations strategies  
  • 5+ years of experience working with workforce management technologies including but not limited to labor forecasting, schedule optimization, time keeping, budgeting and task management 
  • Experience working with ERP and/or Workforce Management Software vendors 
  • Experience working with remote teams 
  • Organizational skills and some project management sills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
