Job Description

At Axsium Group, a Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com platform. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for improving processes and adoption using the platform, working closely with leaders, business units, and subject matter experts to identify, configure, and deploy new business processes. This includes, but is not limited to sales, support, marketing and corporate.

Responsibilities

Core Role

  • Daily administration and support of our Salesforce implementation including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles / roles and permissions, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow and validations
  • Deliver configurations based on specifications to meet product requirements
  • Create and maintain product documentation and specifications
  • Perform analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for our platform
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and drive exploration of options, recommending solutions and / or preparing discussion for escalation
  • Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Create reports and dashboards using Salesforce to meet the reporting and analytical requirements of the business users
  • Work with internal training team to develop training materials and provide training and support to SalesForce.com end users
  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Coordinate testing of upgrades and implementation of new features
  • Monitor application storage usage
  • Monitor, cleanse and archive data as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality requirements
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and to estimate workload
  • Experience with both reports and custom reports and dashboards
  • Experience with several of the following modules: Sales, Service, Pardot, Analytics, FinancialForce Accounting, and FinancialForce Professional Services Administration.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
