Job Description

We seek a dynamic and outgoing individual to join our team to supercharge Axsium’s written content and email marketing messaging. Primarily, this includes writing and editing marketing copy for whitepapers, case studies, press releases, brochures, blog posts, our website, and targeted email campaigns. You will also support Axsium’s sales team in the development and management of proposals, RFP responses, and other built-for-purpose sales deliverables.

The successful candidate will be comfortable meeting with and interviewing subject matter experts (such as consultants, sales reps, clients, partners, and members of the executive team) to develop focused, insightful, and persuasive written content. 


The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Write and edit compelling sales and marketing copy that successfully promotes Axsium and our services
  • Be comfortable writing in a wide range of formats – from single-sentence headlines and short emails up to medium-length blog posts and in-depth whitepapers or case studies
  • Lead the development of marketing copy for persuasive, multi-touch email marketing campaigns
  • Work with consultants and members of Axsium’s executive team to develop insightful thought leadership content such as blog posts and whitepapers
  • Write compelling client case studies that tell high-impact stories about the value and ROI that we create for our clients
  • Write professionally while also remaining interesting and memorable
  • Work with consultants and sales team members to develop and enhance RFP responses and other client-facing deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations
  • Manage and maintain a central repository of RFP language and related proposal materials
  • Be ready and available to assist with special sales and marketing projects as they arise


  • At least 3-5 years of writing experience in a consulting or B2B environment
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills required (writing samples will be requested)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (you must be comfortable working directly with subject matter experts and stakeholders from across the business)
  • Strong computer skills, including mastery of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Effective research strategies and capabilities with the ability to gather information from a variety of sources to construct a cohesive and professional deliverable
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
  • Ability to effectively manage timelines and take proactive action to keep deliverables on-track
  • High level of comfort with writing about technical and analytical concepts, including but not limited to enterprise software, cloud systems, systems integration, big data, analytics, and machine learning
  • Commitment to the creation of professional-level deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or similar major

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Workforce Management (WFM) and/or the retail, hospitality, and healthcare industries
  • Experience with WordPress
