Job Description

At Axsium, a Project Manager leverages their industry and consulting experience to help our clients drive greater productivity from their organization. As a Manager, you will consult with our clients to assist them in achieving their goals by designing and delivering innovative strategic, business and technology workforce management services.


Project Delivery

  • Lead all WFM project phases, creating a detailed project plans
  • Identify and manage risks and issues involved in delivering the project
  • Ensure that work is delivered to the right quality standard
  • Manage the work delivered by the project team meets Axsium quality standards
  • Ownership and management of escalations
  • Manage changes to project necessary
  • Ensure project is running on time and to budget
  • Create professional client-facing presentations
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments
  • and progress
  • Lead and facilitate discussions and workshops with the client
  • Manage difficult situations in a calm and structured way
  • Understand, adapt and act within the client’s organization and culture
  • Oversee project management documents, tools and methodologies including but not limited to risk management, change management, scope management, success criteria
  • Full understanding of Axsium products (e.g. Opus, Change Management); and be able to identify associated client opportunities and promote where appropriate
  • Ability to manage the relationship and coordinate activities across Axsium, vendor and customer teams
  • Broad understanding of the vendor landscape


  • Ability to guide team of consultants – supervision & mentoring & coaching & provide feedback to resources direct manager.

Internal Culture and Administration

  • Ambassador for Axsium culture – presentation, commitment, integrity
  • Timely and accurate submission of Time and Expense Reports
  • Proactively provide notification of availability
  • Share knowledge across Axsium via use of ASK, etc.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project documentation and other deliverables
  • Support the sales process as required
  • Ability to draft and assist with SOW creation, including staffing requirements, approach, timelines
  • Understanding and management of project financials for assigned engagements, including invoicing and AR
  • Ensure staffing and budget updates are timely and accurate


  • University or college degree
  • Understand and have experience of the full, end-to-end WFM workflow and project lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify gaps, propose, evaluate and recommend alternative solutions
  • Strong and persuasive written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail as well as be comfortable selling his/her ideas to client’s project team, senior management and C-level executives through discussion and presentation
  • Deadline driven, confident, takes initiative, ability to multi-task
  • 5+ years of consulting experience in the WFM field
  • 5+ years of experience working with workforce management technologies
  • In-depth experience working with major ERP or Workforce Management Software vendors
  • Experience working with ERP and/or Workforce Management Software vendors
  • Strong management skills relating to project resources
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
