Job Description

An Axsium Delivery Director is the face of our delivery organization to our customers, vendors, and employees. They are responsible for implementing the strategy of defined Axsium services.  The role of the Delivery Director is considered the subject matter expert on Workforce Management and the Digital Workplace for Axsium and our clients. 

They are responsible for providing input and ensuring the direction of the delivery offerings as well as the country’s regional needs; ensuring the organization has the capability through the use of tools, templates, methodology and capacity to deliver the services through working with the appropriate leadership; positioning of the services; developing delivery content with marketing when needed; supporting sales pursuits; creating pricing estimates and statements of work; and working as part of our project teams delivering the service(s) to our clients. This role is customer facing, employee facing, partner & vendor facing, and corporate facing.


Consulting Delivery

  • Understand the Workforce Management market and actively keep informed of industry news along with contributing to blogs and other social media outlets as necessary
  • Act as an executive point of escalation for project and client team members
  • Establish and nurture client relationships within portfolio
  • Contribute to the development of Axsium’s service delivery methodologies and overall consulting infrastructure
  • Ensure strong relationships are managed with vendors and other consulting groups to ensure we are leading the industry in our efforts and delivery skills
  • Understand and present, at an executive level, the benefits and risks of the WFM solutions available to our clients
  • Attend forums and webinars when appropriate on WFM and vendor solutions
  • Oversee the quality and profitability of and timely delivery of all project documentation and other deliverables
  • Create tools necessary to manage the overall business when global Axsium tools do not suffice

Customer Development

  • Partner with Axsium Sales Team in new sales opportunities through on-site presentations, conference calls, and meetings
  • Manage Axsium customer relationships through continuous communication methods
  • Develop consistent communication with Australia Axsium sales team to review opportunities and existing projects
  • Create innovative and exciting presentations to deliver Axsium’s benefits and value to customers within WFM and the Digital Workplace
  • Present at customer symposiums, industry events, vendor events, and other identified occasions

Team Ownership

  • Ambassador for Axsium culture, commitment, integrity, and people development
  • Manage a team and ensure continued career growth for each of their levels and future positions in the company
  • Oversee a team of consulting employees and become their advocate, ensuring employee concerns/suggestions are raised to HR and the Leadership team
  • Play a strong leadership role with regards to recruiting, onboarding, retaining, mentoring and employee development

Business Ownership

  • Collaborate with Australia Sales Executive and other Axsium Executives in the pursuit of new customers and the up-selling of existing customers through the creation of SOWs, engagement, and execution
  • Maintain quality control of sales opportunities through appropriate margin calculations and resource staffing loads
  • Manage team utilization targets, project margins, forecasting/budgeting plans and other recognized financial goals to budget
  • Work directly with finance to ensure the portfolio of projects owned by the Director is managed through the accounts receivable guidelines


The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Over 8-10 years of strategic and tactical consulting experience, in the Workforce Management Industry, Retail Industry, and the Digital Workplace
  • More than 6 years’ experience developing and executing on workforce management tools and processes
  • Previous responsibility for managing teams with both functional and technical skills, including performance and career management
  • Demonstrate strength in the following areas:
    • Change Management and Business Transformation
    • Managing large-scale retail or projects / programs
    • Business delivery development experience
    • Facilitating presentations to C Suite and Executives
  • Experience working with workforce management technologies such as Budgeting, labor forecasting, schedule optimization, time keeping and task management
  • Prefer experience working with major Workforce Management Software vendors (i.e. Kronos, Dayforce, Infor, Reflexis, JDA)
  • Executive level persuasive written and verbal communication skills to sell his/her ideas to client’s senior management including C-level executives through discussion and presentation
  • Extensive experience conducting ROI studies, Business Cases, Score carding, and Vendor Selections for WFM systems
  • Executive level business analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel globally based on client needs, business meetings and other ad hoc needs
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree or extensive work-related experience
