Labor Model Assessment – Understanding your Engineering Needs
Many organizations want to improve or totally develop their labor model. Because each client environment is both complex and unique, we suggest a Labor Model Assessment in advance of any project.
Our Labor Model Assessment is a low cost, low risk way to get started with Engineered Workforce Management. The assessment takes two weeks during which time we conduct executive workshops, inventory existing data, hold one-on-one interviews, and conduct site visits. At the end of the two-week period, you’ll have a personalized plan for WFM excellence.
Criteria analyzed during a Labor Model Assessment:
- What “standards” are being used? Origin? “Age”?
- How closely do the data drivers needed to build workload at the client match the standard being applied?
- What is the condition of the communication between head office and sites regarding the makeup of workload?
- Are there physical barriers present that keep the sites from being productive in terms of the present labor model?
- What data is used and what is available to better develop workload?
- Do the processes used at the sites support the policies and procedures of the business?
An effective review and analysis of these questions creates a clear understanding of need and solidifies a vision for executing an Engineered Workforce Management strategy.
